Revision of public policies and entrepreneurship in developed countries, Latin America and Ecuador.
Abstract
This article aims to collect the most relevant plans, programs, and projects that the governments are undertaking in order to promote the increase of entrepreneurships. This review will be on a global level, and on the level of Latin America and Ecuador. For this purpose, the organisms and programs of support carried out in the last years will be identified and highlighted. The methodology of this study is qualitative and is based on the exploratory study of several institutions at different levels of government. Primary and secondary research resources are used, such as the literature review and others that enable the study and analysis of the topic. The main conclusion drawn from the results is the importance of the public policies of support for entrepreneurship, since a proper interrelationship between institutions and entrepreneurs provokes synergy that boosts the economic and social development of countries. The programs used by the different countries coincide in prioritizing funding, assistance, advisory services, and strategic linkage.
