This article is the result of a research based on transdisciplinary theories and practices. The central objective of the research was to explore how some tools of Gestalt therapy, applied to theater, can enrich the creative process. In this specific case, we experimented using a play I wrote: The Solitude of Inflatable Dolls. It was a revival based on exercises inspired by Gestalt practice, which I had already partially implemented in some previous workshops and productions. Through what I have called "Gestaltic theater," this version of The Solitude, premiered in Madrid, acquired greater relevance with respect to its "poetic truth" and a more risky organic quality in its corporeal score, achieving novel scenic approaches in terms of acting and aesthetics. It also represented an important milestone in the personal growth of those involved in the project.
