Author Guidelines

Pre-Shipment Checklist

It is necessary that, prior to submission, authors must verify that their article complies with each and every one of the requirements shown below. Submissions that do not comply with these rules will be returned to the authors.

I have read the rules for authors and understand that failure to comply with any of the following items will result in the rejection of my article.

The author(s) declares himself/herself free from any type of situation that implies a conflict of interest in relation to the contribution submitted, as well as demonstrating that he/she has followed ethical principles in his/her research.

The author(s) corroborates that this article has not been published, nor is it being evaluated for publication in another journal and/or media, whether printed or digital, even if it is translated into another language.

The author declares himself responsible for the content of his article and declares that he has made a significant contribution to the conception, design and execution of the work, analysis and interpretation of the data, and that he has carried out the drafting of the text and its revisions, especially with regard to the final version submitted.

The article does not evidence the identity or institutional affiliation of its author(s), except where this information is required.

The document presented follows the format of the template and all the instructions specified therein.

Bibliographical references have been made in accordance with the Sixth Edition APA Standards.

The signed documents of Originality and Copyright Assignment have been attached to the article, filled in with the data required in these documents.

The author accepts, if necessary, the introduction of changes in the style of the document by the Editorial Team of Tsantsa.

The author(s) confers the property rights (copyright) of their article to the University of Cuenca, the editorial body of the Tsantsa journal for all its editions.

Rules for authors

RULES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES 

Tsantsa admits unpublished and original contributions that are not published or under review by another publication. Articles must be submitted in the format corresponding to the following Microsoft Word® template (Download here).

The rules on presentation, structure, length and citation of articles, as well as guidelines for the submission process, are available for download here.

Those who submit an article for evaluation to Tsantsa. Journal of artistic research, if approved, will have to send a Letter of Declaration of Authorship, at the same time as a License of Authorization and Publication of Originals. Both documents must be signed by each and every one of the authors. It is possible to download a model of these documents in: format 1, format 2.

These documents must be properly filled in and signed in the section called "Complementary Files", of the OJS manager, as well as being sent to the e-mail of Tsantsa (tsantsa.artes@ucuenca.edu.ec).

Prior to submitting an article via the platform, authors must ratify that they comply with Tsantsa journal standards, and review the article before submitting it, contrasting the work done with the guidelines for authors provided by the journal.

Tsantsa disclaims any responsibility in relation to opportune conflicts derived from the authorship of the originals that are published in it. 

The University of Cuenca (Ecuador) retains the copyright (patrimonial) of the published works and will collaborate in the reuse of the same, which can consist of: copy, use, diffuse, transmit and expose in public.

The contents of the electronic version of Tsantsa are distributed through a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, for use and distribution.
