Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the partial results of a didactic research experience implemented in Federal University of Ouro Preto, Brazil. The first question it's: if the draw of architecture is determined by the necessity for technical representation, why this principle removes the experimental character? From this observation we ask: Is it possible to combine the drawings of representation and conception of the architecture and the processes and techniques that are used in the field of the fine arts? At the methodological level, we have divided this work into three stages. The first began with the study of sketches of architectural creation and representation. The second is the experiences related to the drawing and the perception of the space made in the historical centre of Ouro Preto. The third stage will consist in the realization of free workshops with students of architecture where we will use the three research stuff: creation, representation and perception.

Keywords: drawing, experimentation, creation, representation, perception.
