The visual arts and its transversal approach in the field of communication
Abstract
This paper arises from the urgent need to consider the transversal spectrum that leads to the professional training of students of the Degree in Communication Sciences of the Universidad Veracruzana. Its objective is the contribution made by the Visual Arts to the production of messages that allow an integral learning.
The visual arts are expressive manifestations that transmit an artistic and cultural orientation, through the perception of reality. The purpose of this communication is in the first instance, the presentation of a documentary analysis of the various products made by students within the period from 2015 to 2019 and then a qualitative research with the teachers of the institution. The results obtained account for the importance of the mainstreaming of educational experiences and the contribution that visual arts make to the field of communication.
