Research / creation: body relationships with images
Abstract
In the processes of research / creation that I advance, the narratives that are constructed with the images (visual, aural, bodily) are a counterpoint to what is narrated. These images try to propose a correlate taking into account what happens in the middle of the action.
The work with images, beyond the creation itself, which is a principle proper to training as artists, begins to be configured in devices, in research method. In that sense, understanding the image as triggers allows to broaden the social history of the same and account for contextual elements of creation / research that wouldn´t be visible in another way.
These other ways of knowing, are landed around the work with images in which the visual narratives, the photoelicitation and the image as trigger, are concepts that articulate daily practices of artists / teachers.
Keywords: research/creation, work with images, visual narratives, knowledge.
