Urban Art: Contribution to the construction of public space

The development of cities is conditioned by the evolution of the public space that contains and welcomes the inhabitants of the territories, giving them places for social cohesion and integration, allowing them to relate and participate in community life from spaces conditioned to facilitate the satisfying the demands that vary and transform according to the political, economic, social and cultural model. Different strategies are used in its construction, those that consider urban art being especially successful because they are inclusive and from simplicity contribute to the well-being that color delivers in the gray city environments. The temporary authorization of the Paseo Bandera in Santiago de Chile became permanent due to the contribution it reported, the decision considered technical parameters and allowed projecting the contribution of urban art in the construction of public space.
