Abstract

The objective of this work is to show diverse teaching experiences on the creation of contemporary art through inspirations taken from different elements of cultural heritage. The topic is developed from the detailed analysis of the object of study - painting, sculpture or monumental architecture - with different possible objectives: visual hypotheses for reintegration in heritage restoration, historical dissemination through comics and graphic history, appropriation of forms of representation for the creation of contemporary languages or the historical study of techniques and expression for the development of analogies and reinterpretations applied to art or design. The methodology is developed in two main stages: the first defining the theoretical and historical framework of the object and the second, of a creative nature, through a synthesis journey through drawings and sketches, using experimental techniques with different materials and supports until the work is achieved.
