An interview with Ticio Escobar

Tsantsa journal is pleased to present to its readers an interview with the great curator and cultural manager Ticio Escobar, one of Latin America's leading figures in the criticism of the visual arts. In his native country, Paraguay, he has served as minister of culture, president of the Association for the Support of Indigenous Communities, and currently directs the Museo del Barro Visual Arts Center in Asuncion.
Ticio Escobar has curated internationally, is the author of many monographs on art theory and culture, and has received decorations, awards and distinctions for his commendable work.
