In-dependencia: Analysis of devices and their contribution to the discussion of freedom and equality in Latin America

Abstract

This study examines artistic devices through the lenses of Joseph Kosuth and Jacques Rancière, highlighting the necessity of an emancipated spectator who actively questions and reinterprets art. It underscores the significance of the dialogue between the artwork and the spectator, emphasizing that this interaction serves not only to enhance the understanding of the pieces but also to challenge established interpretations. By doing so, it fosters a more dynamic and reflective aesthetic experience.
