Abstract

Abstract: The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the musical domain is profoundly transforming the processes of creation, production, and distribution, with technical, cultural, and social implications. This technology opens up new expressive possibilities but also raises ethical, legal, and philosophical challenges that question traditional notions of authorship, creativity, and the human role in art. This paper analyzes the main dilemmas surrounding AI-generated music, including the creative autonomy of machines and their relationship with human intervention, intellectual property rights, the impact of automation on artistic labor, the use of personal data in interactive musical experiences, and the risk of cultural homogenization. Throughout the text, a critical reflection is proposed on human-AI collaboration as a new form of co-creation, emphasizing the need for an open dialogue on the social, cultural, and ethical implications of this technology. The aim is to ensure that AI development respects fundamental human values and contributes to enriching, rather than impoverishing, the global musical ecosystem.

Keywords: Artificial intelligence, music, ethics, creativity, intellectual property.
