New politicities of young people: Claiming collective individuality
Abstract
The following article discusses the new trends of learning, communication and expression of the youth policy, which arise in a context of great change, social controversies and political events in response to the traditional political nature. Thus, under the investigation called “ Learning in networks, access to ICTs and new “politicidades” of the young people of Cuenca “ is intended to examine new forms of expression that had the youth policy in recent decades, and has given way to call popular policy - new politicidades - space in which is implemented actions and demonstrations from the individual as a political subject, and are practiced by alternative cultural movements, as the so call tribes or urban cultures. These actions are marked by an ideology and expressed through the body, which breaks down the barriers to the provisions of the acceptable, in search of a way of life which claims individuality as a subject of change, from formal and informal spaces.
