Feminism, economics and governance: bridging gaps of inequality and social exclusion
Abstract
Crises have differentiated effects on different segments of the population. In this sense, the COVID-19 pandemic has deepened gender inequality, exposing women to a decrease in their economic and physical autonomy. Hence the importance of highlighting the role of Public Management for its capacity to have an impact by designing rules: political and economic rules that revalue the role of women in society, facilitating the closing of inequality gaps and the social exclusion of women in the decisions that affect them. Where feminism and feminist economics converge to include "care" activities as a contribution to sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
