The use of images plays a fundamental role in medicine by supporting the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In countries with low and medium resources, access to radiological services is limited and this has deleterious effects on the affected populations. The understanding of sociodemographic and cultural factors that allow identifying the needs and preferences of patients, as well as empathy and communication skills are important to provide individual-centered care is essential and necessary. In this context, Radiology as the essential axis of modern medicine and medical art will always require constant technical renewal, but also the constant reinforcement of its bioethical, social and human aspects, which will help to strengthen it as an integral medical discipline.
