El Auto muestreo para el diagnóstico de VPH y vacunación, para la prevención del cáncer de cuello uterino en Ecuador
Keywords:
vacunación, auto muestreo, VPHAbstract
Cervical cancer is a disease that can be eliminated through vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV), timely detection using high-sensitivity tests, and the monitoring/treatment of cervical pathologies. In Ecuador, cervical cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. Mortality from this cause is related to vaccination and screening coverage at the national level, which still does not meet international standards. This document compiles scientific evidence generated at the national and international levels, aimed at reducing mortality from this disease
