There is a constant increase in the number of AMI cases, the peak of mortality observed between 2008, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Men accounted for more than 50% of cases. Provinces in the coastal region recorded the highest AMI mortality rate, the trend analysis showed a significant overall increase over the entire period, with two trends: a decrease between 2006-2011 and a considerable increase between 2011-2021.
