Reflections on art, pedagogy and politics

In order to provide a theoretical basis for future personal artistic production, I will try to summarize in this paper the most important ideas from some philosophical works, such as: Immanuel Kant´s “Critique of the Power of Judgment”, Jacques Rancière´s “The Emancipated Spectator” and “The Ignorant Schoolmaster: Five Lessons in Intellectual Emancipation”, Alain Badiou ´s “Handbook of Inaesthetics” and Walter Benjamin's “The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction”.
This work is aiming to approach different points of view on the arts presented by these philosophers in different times, analyze their general concepts of beauty, genius, constituent factors of the arts, theoretical postulates about universal education and its means, as well as some of philosophic insights on various aspects of modern art development determined by new political conditions.
