Learning music and becoming a professional musician

Abstract

"Rethinking the design starts with the teacher. We teach according to how we are "(Blackshields 2016). The constant social transformations, the capitalist mode of production and the technological advances that occur today provides the need to rethink the musical education and professional training. This article analyzes the situation of the student and if he is ready to face the present time changes. A contextual analysis is developed on the pedagogical tools in the learning of music, determines a contribution to the education professional in improving and updating the teaching practice in order to understand the work environment, the reality and at the same time make decisions relevant for the benefit of the student. Finally, the importance of giving value to music education and the constant updating of knowledge is established.
