Abstract

Documentary production is a fundamental teaching-learning like an exercise in the audiovisual arts. The experience about the forms of writing for the documentary genre, of artists in training and teachers in a training program of Audiovisual Arts into Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, it allowed the identification of different recurrent didactic problems for the approach the audiovisual genre, this generated questions about how is better guide this process. This article describes the "Uncertain Manual" as a didactic resource that was built to improve and to contribute to the creative process for the realization of student documentary works. The inquiry process was oriented from a mixed perspective of ethnographic and documentary research, like result it configure a didactic guide to support the practices in the classroom, to the teachers involved in the training process for creative writing, design and the production of documentary Works and for students who are training as professionals in audiovisual arts too.
