This writing establishes the need for congruence between the mission statement of the university institutions, their graduation profile and their curriculum. An analysis of this congruence is proposed based on the concept of classification by integration of levels and a benchmarking. A comparison between the Theater bachelor degree of the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) with homologous degrees in public institutions within northern Mexico is made. There is a gap to be covered between institutions. It is concluded that, the Bachelor of Theater of the Faculty of Arts, must update and balance its curricular mesh including additional mandatory subjects to try to achieve an ideal graduation profile. In this way, the institution can be congruent with its mission statement and fulfill the third university mission in the future through its graduates.
