This work analyzes the dramaturgy of Ernesto Ortiz Mosquera (Esmeraldas, Ecuador, 1968), dancer, choreographer and teacher-researcher. Methodologically, we assume an interdisciplinary perspective that promotes a comprehensive knowledge of his artistic work. This interdisciplinarity has to allow us to articulate different areas of knowledge, aesthetics —particularly Cannibal Aesthetics and the Theory of Form—social studies of art and political theory in order, overcoming the boundaries of these disciplines, to characterize Mosquera's dramaturgy as hacker which, in turn, will provide us with an evaluative perspective of its production from the current Ecuador.
