Advances of the Research Project are presented “Gerontology in a socio-legal perspective. Care of the elderly in the Comahue Region” (04-D129), and a training experience within the framework of the Bachelor’s Degree in Social
Service, from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Comahue, Patagonia Argentina.
From the subject, corresponding to the fifth year of the degree, Gerontology is incorporated as a field of action and professional intervention, and from this, the development of specific family intervention processes in the field of gerontology is offered to students and the community. , with family situations derived through annual supervised internship agreements, understanding that these new demands for intervention constitute unprecedented fields of action and specificity of knowledge, due to the new problems that appear not only in
this age group, but also within of the families.
