The report outlines the actions carried out at the University of Cuenca through the Social Work area of the University Welfare Unit from 2015 to 2019. These actions have focused on ensuring rights and social inclusion, addressing these aspects from both social and educational perspectives.
The report details how laws, norms, and inclusive policies have been operationalized to develop professional intervention strategies that promote the full participation of the academic community, families, and students with disabilities. The goal is to provide training and capacity development in an appropriate
environment, tackling the challenge of achieving quality, equity, and respect for diversity.
