Submissions

  • Online submissions

    Registration and login are required to send us your manuscript and for you to check the status of your submission. To do this, if you already have a Maskana user account, go to Login or otherwise to Register to create a new account.

    Once you have completed your registration, you must select "Submit article", at which time the options to upload the information concerning your work will be enabled:

    • Upload the document (manuscript) in WORD format for Windows and adjusted to the downloadable template.
    • Enter the basic data of your work (Metadata) in the web form:
      • Authors' full names and e-mail addresses
      • Specify who is the corresponding author (only one author should be registered as corresponding author).
      • ORCID
      • Institutional affiliation of each author
      • Abstract and title, in English and Spanish

  • The article must be perfectly adapted to the Maskana downloadable template. It describes the formal and content instructions to be followed for the submission of the manuscript.

  • Requirement of Originality: Maskana accepts only original research and literature review articles. All manuscripts, prior to review, will be submitted to a plagiarism control test.

    Letter of introduction When submitting your manuscript to Maskana journal through our web platform, please attach a cover letter in the corresponding section in the format of the link. This letter expressly states that the manuscript has not been published, is not in the process of publication, under review, or being considered for publication in another journal or media.
