Agricultural engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1995. Joint doctorate between this University and the Instituto Pirenaico de Ecología (CSIC), on Sustainability of Mountain Livestock Systems in 2010. As a professor he has taught in 7 of the existing educational branches in Spain (4 Secondary and Professional Education Institutes, 2 Public Research Centers, 5 Spanish Universities and 3 International Universities); in the pre-university scheme on management and conservation of hunt and fish species, agronomic basics, technology, physics and chemistry, information technology and topography; in the university sections on hydrology and water management, modernization and irrigation planning, irrigation and drainage systems, electrotechnics and rural electrification and agricultural facilities; and master's and doctoral degrees on experimental design and statistical data analysis. He has participated in the direction of more than 50 final projects of career, grade and masters, and in more than 60 as jury member. He has participated in the publication of 25 scientific articles, 30 book chapters and 40 contributions to congresses. Specialized in design and analysis, his lines of work have covered some of the relationships between the agricultural use of the territory and facilities, and their effects on the environment.
