Professor of the Department of Psychology of the University of Oviedo (Spain). Her main lines of research include the relationship between ADHD, learning difficulties and executive functions, as well as the study of metacognitive processes involved in solving mathematical problems. She currently teaches and researches in the area of ​​Educational Psychology, an area in which she currently directs Bachelor and Doctoral Theses. Among her research experience, she has published many papers in English, in journals such as Metacognition and Learning, or Learning and Individual Differences. She has done research stays in European Universities, such as Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom), the University of Porto (Portugal) or Utrecht University (The Netherlands), as well as the State University of North Carolina (United States). Part of its scientific production has been developed in collaboration with researchers from the aforementioned institutions, as well as others from the University of Miami (United States), the University of Cologne (Germany), and the University of New England (Australia). She is the author or co-author of more than 60 articles and book chapters related to Psychology and Education. Currently, she is a reviewer of several international journals, including MASKANA.
