Abstract

They said that the author's personal life and daily life were not of interest to literary art. They said that the new setting had to be urban. They said that today's heroism is opaque and lacks passion. They said the end of history had come. But, against the hegemony of the single thought, we are in a time of diversity of knowledge and a canon that is built from our own traditions; a moment of unprecedented political demands that imply coexistence with otherness; a break with Cartesian modernity that leads us to overcome the dichotomy between culture and nature.
