The huairo: between the sacred and the artistic in the Sígsig canton

This text is positioned on the threshold that intercalates the sacred rite with art, through an analysis of the game of Huairo in the Sígsig, same that focuses on the artifacts (Huairo-Cuadro de Almas), that are used during your practice and the transmutation that they suffer when located in different contexts, keeping them in a constant traffic between rite and art; since, being a pre-Hispanic heritage used to pay homage, communicate or pray for the deceased, they have been given the category of sacred artifacts, while, at present and paradoxically perhaps, for the same reason, they have been considered collectible objects, added to this: their aesthetic, symbolic and historical value.
