Abstract

Is art able to evoke nature through technology? Can algorithms help us to convey real emotions? This question, which is currently being raised in many artistic fields, is the subject of debate, especially since the emergence of new technologies. This article will try to reflect on these questions through the analysis of the work developed by the Dutch artists Drift Studio, whose work focuses on a poetic interpretation of natural phenomena through the use of new technologies, and the Swiss artist Zimoun, who develops his work in the field of sound sculptures. These artists, from completely different perspectives, offer a personal vision of man's relationship with the world around him, proposing new ways of looking at nature through technology.
