Utilización de 6LowPAN en sistemas de monitoreo en tiempo real
Abstract
RESUMEN
Las redes sensores inalámbricas (WSN) son usadas para diferentes propósitos en diferentes escenarios. A pesar de los anuncios de la terminación de direcciones IPV4, de las ventajas de IPV6 y de las acciones generadas por diversas entidades para promover la utilización de IPV6 en las redes acceso y distribución, las implementaciones con protocolo ipv6 no están del todo difundidas. El principal objetivo de este artículo es presentar el funcionamiento de una red de sensores inalámbricos (WSN) con 6LowPAN aplicados al monitoreo ambiental con el propósito de identificar los posibles problemas en la aplicación de esta tecnología en sistemas de monitoreo y por tanto en el Internet de las Cosas (IoT). Se ha utilizado el sistema operativo de IBM para el desarrollo del Internet de las Cosas (IoT), el hardware de Libelium. Su desarrollo e implementación nos permite visualizar las ventajas y desventajas de utilizar el protocolo 6LowPAN en el monitoreo de objetos.

ABSTRACT
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are used for different purposes in different scenarios. Despite the ads, indicating the completion of IPV4 addresses, IPV6 advantages, and the actions generated by various agencies to promote the use of IPv6 in access networks, distribution networks, the ipv6 protocol implementations are not fully distributed. The main objective of this paper is to present the performance of a wireless sensor network (WSN) with 6LoWPAN applied to environmental monitoring in order to identify potential problems, when this technology is applied in monitoring systems and therefore in the Internet of Things (IoT). We used the IBM operating system for the development of the prototype and Libelium hardware. The development and implementation of prototype, allows us to visualize the advantages and disadvantages of using the 6LoWPAN protocol on IoT.
