PhD in Economics from the University of Essex, England and Master in Public Policy from the University of Georgetown, USA. Full Professor of the Faculty of Economics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Quito. His main research area is the Economy of Human Capital (Education, Health and Labor Market). She has taught the chairs of Economics of Education, Social Policy, Microeconomics, Econometrics and Quantitative Methods in several Universities. He was Post Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford and Research Associate at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. She is referee of many scientific journals, including: Economic Development and Cultural Change, Economics of Education Review, Feminist Economics, Icons, Analytics and PLOS One.
