DOI:
https://doi.org/10.18537/puc.33.01.08Abstract
The text transcribes the inaugural talk of the Annual History Colloquium: A TRIBUTE TO ANA BURIANO. These pages narrate facets of the life and work of the honoree. Reference is made to her multiple experiences of exile and her role as a woman committed to human rights. His contribution to the History of the Present Time is especially recovered in topics of his lived history, such as the coups d'état, the exile, the controversies in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Finally, the bibliographical references illustrate some titles of his historiographical work.
