Abstract

The following story explores the hidden realm of voices within Picoletto and the misunderstanding of his distinct world. The devastating absence of his beloved, Iluminella, becomes a melody resonating within Picoletto. Constantly, society, unable to comprehend the inner world of those who hear voices, relegates them to a place of madness where logic becomes blurred and reality turns sublime. Through Iluminella, the silent voices have claimed their place, reverberating their echo through Picoletto's voices. Thus, the story illustrates the suppressed suffering, showing an unprecedented connection between the real and the obscure, love and absence, voice and silence.
