Diseño de una red de sensores con tecnología 802.15.4 basado en el concepto de agricultura de precisión aplicada a cultivos de hortalizas bajo invernadero: Una prueba piloto
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research consists in the application of concepts of precision agriculture, within a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) context. The overall objective is monitoring of environmental variables affecting crop development and using this information to optimize the control of a drip irrigation system in the greenhouse of the farm "La Pradera". The study aims a better use of the irrigation water, the design of a data storage system for the parameters under study, and the development of a knowledge base to carry out the prediction of the irrigation parameters.

RESUMEN
La presente investigación consiste en aplicar conceptos de agricultura de precisión en una WSN, para optimizar el control de un sistema de riego por goteo y el monitoreo de agentes ambientales involucrados en un cultivo de hortalizas bajo invernadero de la granja “La Pradera”. El objetivo del estudio es lograr un mejor aprovechamiento del agua de riego y obtener un sistema de almacenamiento de datos de los parámetros a ser estudiados, y constituir una base de conocimiento para realizar la predicción de dichos parámetros.
