Competencias mediáticas audiovisuales en alumnos de colegios de la ciudad de Loja
Abstract
RESUMEN
La presente investigación comprende el estudio de las competencias mediáticas audiovisuales. Se trabajó con una muestra de 23 colegios de la ciudad de Loja (Ecuador), con una población de 1.150 estudiantes de entre décimo año de educación básica a tercer año de bachillerato. Con el objetivo de analizar y diagnosticar el nivel de competencia mediática subjetivo audiovisual en jóvenes (14 a 18 años) de los colegios públicos, privados y “fiscomisionales”. Por otro lado es importante profundizar y dar a conocer esta investigación, para que se incluyan en los pensum académicos materias referentes a la comunicación y la nueva era en la que estamos atravesando. El mundo está en constante cambio y es necesario que los jóvenes sepan usar las nuevas herramientas de forma correcta y a la vez entender y analizar la información que es transmitida por estos sitios.

ABSTRACT
This research includes the study of audiovisual media literacy. We worked with a sample of 23 schools in the city of Loja (Ecuador), with a population of 1,150 students from primary to tenth year of third year of high school. In order to analyze and diagnose the level of subjective audiovisual media competence in young (14-18 years) of public, private and “fiscomisionales” schools. On the other hand it is important to deepen and disseminate this research to be included in the academic curriculum matters relating to communication and the new era we are experiencing. The world is constantly changing and it is necessary that young know how to use the new tools properly and also understand and analyze the information that is transmitted by these sites.
