Abstract

An image, in any of its forms, is a highly communicative resource. Not only the physical presentation of a dish but also its conception, as part of the gastronomic and culinary art, constitutes an agglutinating element of importance for this activity, in which diverse factors that determine its quality intervene. This is where its magic lies, and not in knowing how to cook, which is not a determining factor, but in understanding that our mission is to be able to sell it through an image, for which a specific aesthetic-communicative skill is needed to help us achieve our objective. Therefore, the most important thing is to let ourselves be seduced and persuaded by the sensitivity of form and color, as well as applying certain rules of composition.
