CiteScore 2025 confirms Estoa's Scientific Relevance in Advancing Knowledge
We are pleased to share that Estoa achieved a CiteScore of 0.7 in 2025, up from 0.1 in 2024 when we were first included in Scopus. CiteScore is an indicator published annually by this global scientific impact database. This result represents a 600% increase, meaning that the journal’s impact indicator increased sevenfold over the past year. This growth is particularly evident in the Architecture category, where Estoa rose from the 11th percentile to the 45th percentile. Thus, the journal moved from 181st out of 203 publications in 2024 to 114th out of 210 in 2025, advancing 67 places in the ranking.
This achievement is the result of the joint efforts of the authors, associate editors, and scientific committee, as well as, in a very special way, the peer reviewers. Their generous and behind-the-scenes work is essential to strengthening the quality, visibility, and impact of the published articles. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to those who dedicate their time and expertise to the editorial processes. Their contribution forms the foundation of Estoa’s growth and prestige. We hope this news brings you as much satisfaction as it does to us at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Cuenca.
