Plataforma de evaluación de algoritmos de detección de complejos QRS fetales

The development of a performance evaluation platform for fetal QRS detection algorithms (fQRS) is presented. The platform allows to combine the three classic stages of these algorithms: i) preprocessing, ii) detection and elimination of maternal QRS (mQRS), and iii) detection of fQRS. Three algorithms involved in the competition: "PhysioNet / Computing in Cardiology Challenge 2013" were integrated into the platform. The methodology was validated using the annotations of the database available for the competition. The performance of each detector was characterized by sensitivity, positive predictive value and time delay. The results show that the combination of algorithm stages improves detection sensitivity in relation to the original algorithms.
