The Congress of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was part of the R & D + Engineering 2014 Congress, organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cuenca with the Departments of Civil Engineering (DIC), Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications (DEET ), and Computer Science (DCC). R & D + engineering 2014 served as a scientific scenario for the simultaneous realization of the Congress of Civil Engineering, the Congress of Pattern Recognition, Intelligent Control, Communications and Biomedical Engineering (MATCH'14), the Ecuadorian Conference on Information Technologies and Communications (TIC.EC). The agenda of the R & D + engineering congresses included seven plenary lectures, 70 scientific talks in which the accepted articles were presented, 37 technical talks by renowned professionals and invited researchers, a seminar on biomedical engineering and many others on technology of the information and communications.
