Integración de datos de los sistemas de información de la Universidad de Cuenca utilizando tecnología semántica
Keywords:
Semantic Web, ontology, linked data, NeOnAbstract
Today, the Semantic Web has accomplished great progress about data integration, helping the users to manage and recover information quickly. On the other hand, at the University of Cuenca deals daily with about 16 to 18 heterogeneous information systems. The dispersed and not integrated situation of the institution’s information systems hinders the task of finding entities. Because of this, we propose an integration model that utilizes semantic Web technologies, which allow users to make more precise findings when searching for information in a global context.
